Running from 2021-2025, in partnership with Builders + Backers, Heartland Forward brought their Idea Accelerator (a 90-day program that is a proven Onramp to Entrepreneurship™) to the heartland, empowered participants (called Builders), to put their business ideas into action.

A year-long program designed for alumni of the Builders + Backers Idea Accelerator provided additional grant funding and mentorship to support the scaling of Builder businesses.
